Why Childcare Costs in Arlington & DFW Are a Real Problem
The Dallas–Fort Worth area is one of the fastest-growing metros in the country, and demand for quality childcare has surged right along with the population. Traditional daycare centers in Arlington can run $1,000–$1,500/month or more. Even occasional babysitters often charge premium rates with minimal vetting. For families living paycheck to paycheck or navigating inconsistent schedules, that’s simply not realistic.
Our Village was built with this gap in mind. It’s a gig-economy platform designed specifically for parents and local communities in DFW — connecting families with background-checked service providers through a trustworthy, locally-focused network that functions like a digital neighborhood.
The Our Village Difference
Think of it like Facebook — easy to use and already community-built — but as safe as the big national care companies. And unlike those platforms, Our Village never charges you to use the app.
Childcare Coverage for Every Season & Situation
One of the biggest advantages of Our Village is flexibility. You’re not locked into a contract or a center’s hours. Whether you need a few hours of help or recurring weekly coverage, you can book on your terms.
